How to calim back your Payment Protection Insurance (PPI)

Ξ December 22nd, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General | Print This Post Print This Post

The banking fiasco continues, not satisfied with over charging people for their bank charges the banks are now been fined for miss selling Payment protcetion Insurance (PPI).

Egg the Internet bank are the latest of the 20 Financial institutions to be fined for their aggresive selling of payment protection insurnace. The FSA has fined them £172,000 for failing to adhere to the regulations regarding the selling of PPI. During the investigation the FAS found that over 40% of Eggs customers were actually advised to take out the insurance even though they were only regulated to provide these products on an information only basis.

Sales staff at Egg were directed to use hard sell tactics on customers who did not take out the product. This was directly against their level of regulation. The FSA estimate that if all Eggs customers requested a refund then it would cost the bank over £10 million.

These PPI products have been very lucartive for the companise selling them as many people have found to their caost that when it came to the crunch and they tried to make a claim only 4% were actually paid out.

The products were designed to cover payments for Loans, Credit cards, car finance and Catalogue purchases if the customer lost their job through redundancy, sickness or an accident. Sadly many people did try to calim but found that the policies are writen in such a way that the vast majority of claims have been turned down.

There is a simple solution, you can claim all your payments back. Take a look at the criteria here and see if you are due a lump sum back from a practically worthless policy.

Cheap Student Health Insurance May Not Work

Ξ December 9th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General | Print This Post Print This Post

It is generally believed young people are irresponsible.  But often they aren’t seen as responsible because they have to live cheap.  Student health insurance is very often the last thing on their minds.  If you are a young student you will know exactly what this means.  Not having enough money to cover daily living expenses does add a lot of stress to student life.  Mature people should think back and remember just how hard it is to get a college education.  Not all of us are able to rely on our parents.  We have to study and get a job just to survive.  For people like us even a cheap student health insurance is way too much money.

Having to come up with a set payment each month for medical costs is seen as a luxury by most students.  If we had a choice most of us would opt for some kind of financial medical assistance. This is why more and more students are turning to Prudent Choice.  This is a company that will accept you as a member.  You will be given a membership card and access to a network made up of hundreds of thousands of medical practitioners.  All of them give discounts that make a difference.

Unreachable Cheap Medical Health Insurance

Ξ December 9th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General | Print This Post Print This Post

A certainty is that life isn’t cheap.  Medical health insurance used to be a sure thing.  Our parents expected their employers to provide this benefit.  But that was a different time and things have changed.  More and more businesses are not subsidizing health insurance for their workers.  Individuals have to make their own arrangements.  We are all in different situations.  Some of us are single, some married with kids, some are self-employed and some have an employer.  The one thing we all have in common is a tight budget.  Nowadays everybody has to be aware of exactly how much money is going out.  Even more important, are we getting the best value for our money?

There is a way to add value to our money.  Strangely enough it happens when we pay our medical bills.  The value comes in the form of a discount.  This is a system that was devised by Prudent Choice.  And it’s proving to be a great help to many members.  If you get a membership card, you too will be entitled to discounts on your medical bills.  If cheap medical health insurance is not for you then consider using discounts to add value to your medical payments.

Cheap Health Insurance Quote Not What We Want

Ξ December 9th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General | Print This Post Print This Post

Are you tired of worrying about cheap health insurance?  Quote figures are always bad news and not what we want to hear.  If you think about it, insurance is a big commitment for those of us who are on a strict budget.  And let’s face it, most us are.  If we fall back on our payments we are going to lose out.  Not only will we lose out on the present but we will lose out on everything we paid.  It will all have been for nothing.  There are negatives to having medical insurance.

If you are expecting to find a cheap health insurance quote then think again.  The cheapest schemes are very general and more often than don’t cover everything.  You end up having to pay in from your own pocket.  You also have to make your monthly insurance payment or else.  If you find all this a bit hard to swallow then why not make yourself eligible for the best discounts?  Make contact with Prudent Choice to find out about their discount system.  Use it properly and you won’t have to pay your full medical bills ever again.  This is possible without any unnecessary agreements you have to pay for.

Challenge to Cheap Health Insurance Plan

Ξ December 9th, 2008 | → 0 Comments | ∇ General | Print This Post Print This Post

Prudent Choice is a company that has beaten the cheap health insurance plan.  This is because a health insurance plan that is considered cheap is still unattainable for many of us.  Prudent Choice had a flash of genius when they realized there was a way to save cash simply by working out a proper system.  They went ahead and started a network.  They invited all kinds of medical practitioners to join them in offering discounts to people like us.

We all need doctors, dentists, opthalmologists etc.  Then there are those wives and girlfriends who become pregnant.  Mum and baby need the best care possible.  This doesn’t end as soon as baby is born.  Healthy babies need medical care in the form of checkups to make sure they stay healthy.  If there are unforeseen complications the bill continues to rise.  Of course, it is the health of mum and baby that is the greatest concern.  But afterwards, somebody has to pay the bill.  Even if you did have a cheap health insurance plan it would probably not pay the full cost.  Even for a partial payment you would need to make insurance payments every single month.
